It Took Me 1.5 Years to Write a Book & 5 Years to Sell It.

Here’s Why.

The #1 question people ask me: How long did it take to write your book? It sounds like a simple question, and sometimes I give a simple answer: a year and a half.

But the truth — as it so often is — was more complicated. Longer. And, looking back on this now, more painful than I’ll let myself remember.

Here’s how it went down. Writing a book is a test of endurance. And in my case, how often you can age your main character up and down without strangling someone.
