I remember that faded past! Maybe retail just brings out the worst in people…?

I too, should have equity in Amazon for all I spend there. But what do we miss by not having to interact with another human being — even if those interactions are awkward or negative — in the course of de minimis, daily transactions? I think we need the social conditioning, in the aggregate, on some level.
