My review of ThredUp online shopping
ThredUp is a legit online consignment shopping site that sells designer and name brands in like new or new conditions. With brands ranging from Anne Taylor Loft and Forever 21. The site has unique fashions hard to find with reasonable costs in women and children’s clothing.
Although, it is not my “everyday” go to shopping experience, it does have perks of not having to step into a store and finding designer items. Also, with the organized online catalog, it makes thrift shopping more accessible than digging around at the consignment shop downtown.

On the down side, if sizes are wrong it is a bit of a hassle to have those items returned. And returns are typically for store credit only. I only received one shirt that had an off size — so not too bad. I ended up giving it to a friend as a gift. I wasn’t thrown off by it, I still found some pretty neat deals that made up for it.
The following items I considered a big “win” since I can never find these kind of deals at the mall without having to settle on the “quality” of the material.

$22.99
Compare at $68.00

$13.49
Compare at $39.95

$10.99

Overall, ThredUp is a better alternative than going to most consignment stores and racking up your credit card bill at that expensive fashion boutique in the mall. However, it has not completely duplicated the advantages of shopping in person as of yet, so they are constantly trying to get new customers with deals and discounts — especially with the end of winter season almost over.
