Ya know, people would be a lot more willing to accept our agenda if you actually tried to persuade people based on its utilitarian value. No, not everybody has to accept your atheistic, post-gender, post-race, non-biological belief system, breaking with millenia of human tradition and culture, without question. That you believe otherwise suggests both a staggering arrogance, and a deep (but unacknowledged) admission that you can’t actually defend these ideas. No. Your beliefs are, for better or worse, extreme, even by today’s standards. Asserting that those who disagree with you are not worthy of equal time is the same backwards, fascist reaction of today’s violent Berkeley protestors. If your ideas were really so good you wouldn’t be afraid of a little competition.
