When Green Meets Gray

via weheartit

With his windblown black hair, he looked ragged yet handsome.

And his eyes… It’s the color of the sea : sea-green. She can see the playful glint there; she can feel the warmth dancing in those green–vibrating to her body as she shuddered lightly in his touch. There were times when she felt confused; when she felt anxious yet scared to lose him. She couldn’t imagine if he was gone. And his everyday life mostly colored by that kind of thing–a life and death circumstances.

She could smell the fresh air of the sea from him as they walked hand-by-hand by the shore. Sometimes he kicked some of the sand playfully. She looked into his eyes again, and thought, I can go to rehab. Those eyes–just like him–just like the sea–calm and hard to understand–but can be wild and stormy too, sometimes. She drowned at the depth of his sea-green.

With her stormy gray eyes, he knows she’s dangerous and could kick a guy’s bollocks off.

But as he had spent many years of friendship with her, he can tell that she’s actually a nice girl from the heart. She’s passionate, smart, caring, and… she has the most beautiful eyes ever. He couldn’t think when he stared deep in her eyes, as if his knees had turned jelly. She has a reason she calls him Seaweed Brain most of the time. He absolutely loves the way she furrows her brows when she is thinking hard; he loves the way she smiles and he loves the way she stares deeply back at him everytime he looks at her. He loves how warm her eyes are even though gray is the dullest color ever.

But he knows that those gray eyes can turn pretty scary when she’s angry or in a bad, bad mood. Those gray eyes are very stormy like almost-raining-clouds. He totally knows that there are so many emotions and feelings behind those eyes.

He knows, he’s head over heel for her.

And when they shared their first proper kiss underwater, when he once again drowned in her ash colored eyes, he thought he just had the best underwater kiss.

With the world is still churning and troubles are not going to end,

when green meets gray,

they know that everything will be okay.

“It’s okay,” he said. “We’re together.” He didn’t say you’re okay, or we’re alive. After all they’d been through over the last year, he knew that the most important thing was that they were together. She loved him for saying that.”
