7 Outdoor Adventures for everyone on the Sunshine Coast, in beautiful BC, Canada. Make it a bucket-list trip. Or even just a weekend trip. These adventures will be enjoyable for all ages and abilities, including kids. Make them your own, suitable to your own abilities, Walk them, run them, bike them.

1. Soames Hill Park (Gibsons, BC)

So many options for walks, or more strenuous hiking here, and did I mention views, oh the views! The trails would make a great trail run as well.

This park consists of 150 acres of land, with more than 5kms of trails through 2nd growth forest. Stick to the blue and blue/white trails for a stroller friendly, wheelchair friendly/flat accessible trail through the forest.

For those capable of stairs, take a turn off to a green trail (options to join on both sides) there are 436 stairs and at the top you will be rewarded with views of Gambier, Bowen, Keats, and Vancouver Islands. The 2nd viewpoint is well worth continuing on to for unobstructed 180 degree views.

Children as young as 4 who are confident walkers can do this on their own, and there are lots of spots to take small breaks and enjoy views along the way for anyone who needs to. Take…
