It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

Thankyou for writing about this and your feelings. Too often the emotional aspect of things is downplayed, as if we could remove ourselves from them and the impact they have on our lives. Stating that being mistreated makes you uncomfortable and mad should not be seen as being “too emotional”. It is nature and emotions are a part of how we are. The idea that being emotional= wrong (or weak or femenine…) totally ignores how emotions… and ourselves work.

Please keep on writing. More people need to hear your voice.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
