A Micro-Inspirational-Poem for anyone Writing a Novel.

In those writer block moments

that’ll fold over into

days,

weeks,

& maybe even months

as you feel as if your words,

your creative gifts,

are not as you’d like them to be:

that feeling as if you have a writer’s block,

but it is based upon

something else that you cannot put your finger on,

and you know it’s not words,

for you always have plenty of those

whirling around in your brain,

but you realize it is that dreaded feeling

of where and when (for goodness sake) will the words

go,

flow into a solid form

that can be shared,

until then

you keep writing,

& writing,

even if those words

in those writer block moments

that’ll fold over into

days,

weeks,

& maybe even months

that seem insurmountable,

a Mt. Everest of your own making,

and yet

you try to go on

because

one day

it’ll happen,

as all those words

will take shape on pages

in a book

for you to share with others,

until then

you just try

& get back up,

because you can,

.

Here’s a micro-inspirational-poem for those moments:
