Attention all passion led Software Engineers — For The Makers is hiring
A call to all Australian developers with a creative spirit — work on a product that people already LOVE

Our mission is simple. We exist For The Makers.
Forbes Magazine just ran an article titled “Millennials Are Ready For Crafting, But Is The $36B Crafting Industry Ready For Them?” And we think the answer is ‘not yet’. But that’s what we are working on solving, starting with Knitting and a product that allows anyone to create their own perfect knitwear design called Bellish.

Bellish is the foundation of a mobile and digital native future in craft.
It’s a huge and exciting space, which has been traditionally underserved by the tech sector. Think canva-for-craft! This vision has been backed by Australia’s leading Venture firms including Blackbird.vc and skipcapital.com
Who + How?
For the Makers was founded in 2018 by Megan Elizabeth and Robbie Andrew.
‘We are nimble, high achievers, grounded in creativity’ — Megan Elizabeth, Startmate Demo Day
We’re a diverse team of 6 with different backgrounds, plus 2 incredible advisors, all united in our passion for startups and maker-centric product development.
From the day we opened our doors in 2018 we’ve been committed to building a work-culture as future-ready as our product.
For The Makers Byron Bay co-working space @ The Corner Palm
We believe in designing our own working environment, enabling our team to be as productive and healthy as possible, and allowing us to hire the very best talent in Australia without being limited by geography. The outcome is a blend of remote working in co-working spaces, in-person meetups, and quarterly offsites.
Our day-to-day operations and communications is in what we call ‘Slack-land’ (and Github), with regular video call check-ins, while our in-person culture is built on bonding at regular offsites.
