I went surfing with my last meeting of the day today. We decided to finish it in the ‘board room’ — as cheesy as that sounds. And another friend joined us. It was choppy, mushy and high tide but amazing. Able to catch a bunch of waves. I traded boards with my friend and rode a 6'0 biscuit. I didn’t think I’d be able to catch anything with something so small but in fact, I found it to be SO fun.
I’ve been research being a better surfer and there are two sources that I found. One is from Surfer Mag. It’s an interesting read and reminded me it is nothing if I’m not having fun. So today, it was all about fun. (read it here.)
The other is this great video about picking up speed and doing a front side snap.
My GoPro water housing replacement arrived tonight. So tomorrow, I’ll be back to showing how much fun I’m having in the mini waves. This challenge is fun. And this week I’ll start a little smaller, just working on picking up speed down the line.
Day: 4| Water Time: 75Minutes | Break: Bay St. | Waves Ridden: 8+
