The River (Sacral Chakra)

If you keep river water in a bottle it does not flow in it's roaring majesty
It sits there and stagnates, unable to reach its full potential, molecules bashing against the banks
Chaotic and powerful
The mighty Ganga
My river was trapped in a vritti
blocked from travelling upstream
energy inside me wanting to break free
Stifled and controlled but overcompensating
The rules I got were all breaking
Falling from the light
The night of my emotions
lasted a long while
could scarcely break a smile
shut down and swept away
Numbed from the outside
confused and bruised and objectified
succeptible, manipulated and lost inside
wanting to feel love
looking in all places
feeling comfort and gentle caress
soft and delicate
Part of me still bottled up
knocking against the glass
Movement released the bottle top
the pressure inside fit to burst
The river begins to flow through me
dancing in my soul
back to childlike innocence
Freedom to feel
Passion to love
Young becomes old
