My AI Saturdays (Lagos) Journey
In the quest for something entirely new I begun a journey at AI Saturdays. Yaay! It’s been four week which is equivalent to a month (on my own calendar). AI Saturdays became my only Owambe party since the last Four weeks😊 with the same bride and groom😁 ( George and Lawrence),same ever loyal, smiling, active and passionate Host👉( Tejumade💜), the event is incomplete without the refreshment(oh lawd! I like food) from our most efficient caterer (Adetola 😍). Just that the event center for the owambe changes due to situation beyond control. I must confess the organizers are doing a fantastic job making sure that things are in place but Cisco remains my favorite venue (the view, Wi-Fi, comfort). How do I get to know about the change of venue? Thanks to our dear Oreva 💙 for the timely and detailed invite(mails).

I started this journey as a beginner (I mean beginner beginner ) a complete novice with no prior knowledge to programming, though with a good mathematical background(so no issues with the maths part) but the coding seem to be an issue and this issues are being solved by the day👌.
After the introductory class I made it a duty to start from the scratch by learning python(from the very beginning ) , revising my linear algebra, downloaded data camp (practice with it), starting Andrew Ng course and go through the class materials even if I don’t understand I stare at it😂😂.

I developed a routine to go over materials related to machine learning from class materials to other materials I sort for on the internet. I’m much better than what I was at the beginning of AI Saturdays and it can only get better.
Yeah the process might be slow but it is certain that I will converge! I will just tweak the learning rate a little bit to hasten the process 😁 but Will not tweak it too much so that I won’t overshoot to prevent divergence 😉 . The journey continues ………….
