Again another day full of studying, the same procedure as every day one could say about Yeji’s current situation. The young girl was very lazy the last years and had to catch up now for her master. Her outgoing nature was beneficial in her social life, but not for her studying duties. She was a rather tall girl, with shoulder-length blonde wavy hair. She mostly had it tied to a ponytail, as it was easier to do sports. Jogging was her daily routine, her safe space after reading the whole day. It was a typical autumn day, colorful leaves were spreaded on the ground and the twilight was already there when she started her walk.
She lived in a small town, Finsterstadt, where fog was more common than actually seeing the sun. She loved to take walk through the nearby pumpkin fields, a side effect of loving halloween she thought. The nearby woods were always the boarder not to cross for her walk, as there was no real trail to walk on. This night things changed, as a shimmering purple light filled the woods. Yeji tried to resist, but the tedium of everyday needed a break. She got curious and and hoped for a rave party. Slowly but steady she entered the woods with the light getting brighter and brighter. She felt like moth, realizing that her brain was magically shutting down, her movement was out of her controll. There it was, a black sphere.
The only thing Yeji could think about is touching it. She was so close now, she could see her reflection on the surface. But before she could touch it, it opened. Yeji stumbled on her back. She could see now the inner side of the sphere, it revealed a cockpit, with a strange stone statue being placed upon the seat. Strange noises came from the console inside of the sphere, Yeji was back on her feet leaning over the console. On a small monitor inside she could read the words in proper English “Landing sequence succesful” — it was a spaceship. But why would it transport a stone statue? Yeji tried to remove it from the seat, but she was not able to lift it even a second. Out of anger she kicked against the ship, breaking her leg in the process. She screamed in pain, as the noise seemed to trigger the console. Some cracking sounds later the statue was gone, Yeji was worried, as she did not saw it moving. She crawled towards the spaceship. Under heavy pain she lifted herself up, nothing was left in the ship. She turned around, a gargoyle was standing before her reaching out for her, she leaned backwards, losing her balance — falling into the spaceship. The gargoyle could not react quick enough, as she landed on the console triggering the spaceship to close. As she lost her consciousness she could hear computer voice saying “Returning back to planet Mars”.
