Piazza dei Mercanti & Colonne di San Lorenzo & S. Maria delle Grazie al Naviglio & Ponte Di Via Corsico [ Sep 2016 ]
The way going on ‘Piazza del Duomo’, first of all, ‘Piazza dei Mercanti’ is right front of u after metro ‘Cordusio’
Outdoor exhibitions, markets & concerts often take place in this medieval public square.
‘Piazza Mercanti’ is a central city square of Milan, Italy.
It is located between ‘Piazza del Duomo’, which marks the centre of the modern city of Milan, and ‘Piazza Cordusio’, and it used to be the heart of the city in the Middle Ages
It looks like summer shower soon within a half an hour as soon as I arrived this square..so I had to decide to take photo for a while if it’s possible to take it…
Cuz of dark back, the photo was not cool more than I expected, so should look around this area for a while then come back again after Navigligo Grande. That way could be better I thought…
As well known, it was a mall for shopping , but I didn’t know to check it out this square b4 searching on google maps where is famous for huge brand as well known so much…
Quite bigger than I expected on google-maps, see that?
Every square has monument as a statue, n the other is a lot of birds which is damn dirty well known…Don’t get closed to them
‘Duomo di Milano’
Milan Cathedral is the cathedral church of Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity, it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently ‘Archbishop Mario Delpini’.
The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete
If I had much times for tour this cathedral,
I should look around indoor of this cathedral ….
But, so sadly, wasn’t enough to travel cuz there’s a meeting with her near by this area for dinner who was school mate.
========================================
‘The Colonne di San Lorenzo’ or ‘Columns of San Lorenzo’ is a group of ancient Roman ruins, located in front of the Basilica of San Lorenzo in central Milan, region of ‘Lombardy’, northern Italy
Archaeological site made up of 16 Roman marble columns, next to remains of an amphitheater and baths.
That’s also 2nd place where I didn’t search on google b4, it was just found out by chance as way back on the ‘Piazza del Duomo’ from ‘Naviglio Grande’
After ‘Piazza di Duomo’, I had followed the easy way to ‘Naviglio Grande’, but wasn’t easy to find out with google-maps for me. There’s a reason why the maps show on the direction as a head from standing the spot.
But wasn’t unlucky for me cuz I found out the other cool way where I hadn’t expected b4 visiting here by chance.
Even had not much time b4 meeting her
, I was wasting my time for just finding out the ‘Naviglio’ with google-maps
,that could be hilarious for everyone
, but I didn’t familiar to handle google maps at this moment I think
Even waste some times to find out this area ‘Naviglio Grande’
, finally, I’ve been here.
At first, to look around this site, there’s a cool cathedral.
It was built in 15~16th century as baroque style with as a first time
, but there didn’t exist the those type window which was design since 1990's.
Whenever visited any chapel & cathedral in Italy from Rome
, everyone could be satisfied with watching all of those style which is couldn’t be better than b4..
For a while, after looking around this area, during the festival season
, I should visit with a plan b4 coming visit here.
However, it wasn’t a my first plan.
Of course, if u wanna got a dope photo with small boats at night in April to August. That’s is exactly one for tourists I recommend.
But , at least, was so quite dooope bridge more than I expected which was one she recommend even it wasn’t a festival season.
So it was my bad to make a plan this season for taking a trip in Italy.
Someone could see this river like as the view of Venezia or not as compared with each others…eh?
Just in my photos, it could be possible to think about it.
If I tell u about tips for a trip in Milano, make a ur plan for 2 nights trip at least why it sounds like so much enough to travel this city but it couldn’t be…It’s just my private.
