“How well does google know you?”

According to top executives “Google will soon know your spouse”. What this means is Google has access to more than just your name, it also tracks what you’ve searched. By Google tracking what you’ve searched it has the ability to see what you or your “spouse” spouse likes and is able to access your so called search patterns. Google tends to track everything you have searched before your next topic. This can play a role when searching for anything new becusse Google will try and relate previous searches with new ones. Also google will tend to enable so called “cookies”. What cookies are , are little ads or tabs that may appear on the screen when traveling from site to site: These little ads or tabs will be previous searches that are from Google. This is just one of the many ways google has somewhat control in your life.

Another way Google contributes to having an effect in your life is when researching. Such as when researching for writing an article you choose to put Google’s. words into your own creating your own article. This brings us to Ray Kurzweil. Ray Kurzweil who is the director of engineering at Google and soon believes that “Google will know you better than your spouse does” is said to be by Bill Gates has reportedly called “the best person he knows at predicting the future of artificial intelligence” and also States that… “When you write an article, you’re not creating an interesting collection of words,” he continued to sate. “You have something to say and Google is devoted to intelligently organizing and processing the world’s information. The message in your article is information, and the computers are not picking up on that. So we would want them to read everything on the web and every page of every book, then be able to engage in intelligent dialogue with the user to be able to answer their questions.” What Kurzweil is showing here that when researching through google and surfing the internet, Google picks I up the very best knowledge best for you by going through everything ever said or posted about your topic. This gives google the best chance to be able to know what your looking for depending on what sites you’ve visited in the past. It is also safe to say that Kurzweil believes that Google will soon “know the answer to your question before you have asked it. It will have read every email you’ve ever written, every document, every idle thought you’ve ever tapped into a search-engine box. It will know you better than your intimate partner does. Better, perhaps, than.

As creepy as it may seem Kurzweil who has forever stated that computers will eventually out state man also believes that the improvement of artificial intelligence is the next step in Evolution. Kurzweil also stars that “These are brain extenders that we have created to expand our own mental reach. They are part of our civilization. They are part of who we are. So over the next few decades our human-machine civilization will become increasingly dominated by its non-biological component.”

Now that you’ve seen how Google can play a role in your life without you even knowing it or how it can “know your spouse better than you”. This shows how Google is evolving rapidly quicker than human life and is tapped into all your searches through this search engine. This creates a more open view on what Google actually does when you search for the answers you need.
