In one of the articles I found this quote interesting “Among large metropolitan areas with a total population of 500,000 or more, the least segregated metros were located in the faster-growing South and West,”

Those areas are also predominantly Democratic islands surrounded by Republican districts. I live in Atlanta and even as something that would seem to be as innocuous as art, the rest of Georgia feels that Atlanta drives too much of the state policies.
