The Top 50 Corporate IoT Websites in the World

Inspired by the way in which Accenture has created a sub-site at Accenture.com/iiot providing resources for anyone interested in getting up to speed with the Industrial Internet of Things, I decided to map the Top 50 IoT-focused sites from major companies all over the world.

Please click through the links here and enjoy what these groundbreaking companies have between them collected for their customers and partners. There’s no other area of technology growing this fast!

Important note: Incidentally, before the howls of protest begin about the exclusion from this list of all-in IoT players like Axeda, EVRYTHNG, Freescale, M2Mi, Nest, ThingWorx, Xively etc., please understand that the companies I have sought to include in this go-around are the “generic giants” of enterprise IT and telecommunications rather than the new kids on the block, the IoT specialists.

I am saving the latter category of companies for a follow-up – and much, MUCH longer! – list.

Lastly, here’s a list of major enterprise IT companies who somewhat surprisingly have not yet, so far as I can see anyway, built any kind of dedicated IoT-focused sub-site despite being actively – and some (such as Schneider Electric) massively – involved in the Internet of Things.

Of course that can and will change…at which point I will as always gladly update this list on an ongoing basis. Companies or commentators should just tweet the details to me at @jg21.
