They do, just not the one you want. You mentioned government keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous people. You mean the government that approved Mateen? The government that didn’t catch Major Hasan. The same government that put Ted Kennedy and John Lewis on its no-fly list? A list which took Lewis, a sitting Congressman with the connections that come with that position, four years to get removed from. Not exactly inspiring confidence.
