It’s Stupid That My Actor Dad Is The One Who Has To Teach Us Not To Be Dumb

While I find you editorial very interesting and, IMHO, absolutely accurate, I find the comments even more entertaining. To assume that a video of a campaign speech can replace watching the person is naive, and that attending a supporters rally implies support is equally naive. There are a lot of “stories” around in this year's presidential race, and I personally find it one of the most entertaining races that I can remember (and there have been a few that I still remember), and one thing that sets this cycle apart is the role of the “objective” news media, and the thrust of social media. If you are interested in the real story, you need to get out there and listen to the players. Video, new reports, and sound bites can never present the whole story. Good for you Mr Dreyfuss for braving the cameras and one-liners so to better understand the views of the candidates for this year’s election. You may, perhaps, end up better informed than your critics!
