Benjy, I am a boomer working professional. I do agree that Donald Trump’s message is resonating; however, I do not agree that Donald Trump’s nomination speech was about fear. He explained the condition of the country, a condition that many people of my era see very clearly, and the downward spiral we are in as a nation. One example of this is the national debt, which, as you probably know, has tripled. This wasn’t a message of fear, but of reality. For example, the top number of patents and inventions held worldwide was always held by Americans. Today the number one spot is held by South Korea. Middle America isn’t afraid of the present economy as much as wanting to have hope for future prosperity. Thank you for the research, but your supposition of fear-mongering isn’t how DT supporters are wired.
