IndieWebCamp NYC is a two-day maker event for creating and/or improving your personal website. All levels welcome! One of several 2019 IndieWebCamps and the seventh IndieWebCamp in NYC!

https://2019.indieweb.org/nyc

It will be held 2019–10–05 and 2019–10–06 at Pace University in Manhattan, New York City.

The importance of owning your data is getting more awareness. Yet we need to build both the technical and societal systems to ensure a free and open web for the future. We invite computer engineers, hackers, activists, teachers, students and journalist to this two day event.

For two days computer science students, hackers, designers, engineers, and everyone…

This is “one” phonemic awareness activity and it is strong. What you were to do with this assignment is explain how you would incorporate phonemic awareness at 7 minutes a day throughout a pre-school year.

These are all great ideas! Each of the three will build phonemic awareness. I want you to be more explicit in how you will capture this seven minutes. Will it be morning meeting, centers, JIT (just in time), all of the above.

My @indiewebcamp Nuremberg goals are strictly content related. Need to finish a piece on #DoOO and #IndieWeb. Working title: Two Things Describing One Web and then #CheckoutMyDomain Grant

Wow an interesting story idea! I wonder if we could also flip this like what bad realities could emerge from a super hero with these powers?

Here is a great children’s literature book available on Ebsohost for @scsu students #edu307: http://scsu.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=nlebk&AN=160418&site=ehost-live&ebv=EB&ppid=pp_126

I agree with @kickscondor this is a human issue.

I alo agree with @davewiner this needs to be dead simple. I think we are close based on the chatter I am seeing in the #indieweb -dev channels to being able to have ability to push button subrscribe to people and add to our blog rolls.

Wordpress.com pretty much already figured it out.

Until now @kickscondor I think I need to revise all my follow post and have them syndicate to indieweb.xyz using blogroll-topic. We could just start building community lists with one line of html.

They were and are always cool, but we never defined” making it” in terms of adoption by corporate silos. We make it when you make your own site and join the web. Microformats allow us to connect while keeping it simple HTML.

The Links manager plugin put the link description in the ID class. It should probably just be wrapped in a paragraph tag.
