I view food and cooking as one of the few universal communicating mediums among all cultures and peoples on earth. Each dish tells a story, regardless if its brand new or centuries old. A constant stream of creation and destruction with ingredients and enough personal creativity to give it your own style. But if creating something doesn’t have an innate appeal for you, then you are right in simply enjoying the epilogue.
