The Power of breaking through matter

When I discovered the word of Coaching and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) I also discovered the huge power of words. Words can change us and in doing so may also change our world. Words have a very interesting peculiarity: They can generate “mental representations” in both speaker and listeners’ mind.To be able to understand the meaning of the sounds that come out from my son’s mouth (eg. C A T), I need to generate a mental representation of a cat in my mind. Well, I doesn’t sound very interesting but if you think a little more deeply…When someone tell us : “It would be very sad if you got sick”, we need to generate this mental representation (me getting sick) to understand the sound that comes out from his mouth. Wow! This is not so funny, is it ? Words are like neutrinos, these subatomical particles that can break through matter. And we can’t protect from them.We must learn to use words.Always in our favor. Never against us. Coaching and NLP are about this, too.
