Extreme weather events are increasing due to climate change. Climate change will increase the intensity, frequency and duration of tornadoes. Sea level rise will make floods more frequent. Islands and Arctic settlements are having to be abandoned due to sea level rise and temperature rise. People will adapt and humanity will survive, but climate change is a major real-world concern already, and the models are predicting more changes to come. If you study what climate scientists have been reporting with an open mind, I don’t see how you can deny that this is a serious issue.
