The “trickle-down effect” you alluded to has most certainly permeated all levels of basketball — unfortunately the 5th, 6th, and 7th options on my NY Urban men’s league team all feel obligated to hoist double-digit 3s on any given night, likely at a 28% clip, if I’m being generous.

The idea of attacking inside-out (and no, I don’t mean operating out of the post; rather, getting to the cup early, seeing the ball go through, THEN working out to the 3-point line) just seems outmoded to these guys.

The Warriors are bad for basketball.
