Update — I have tested SOX on it’s own from the command line…it works. But REC does not, the windows vsn of SOX does not contain REC and the simple ploy of copying SOX.EXE to REC.EXE did not work.

So…

Can anyone help me dig under the covers a bit. MIC is the object at the Jscript level…how does that map to call REC and can I change it call SOX instead?

If SOX is the native program (seems to be) why not use it and be x-platform compatible (you hate windoze perhaps?) I know it will need one more flag in the call…
