Leona, I think your list is great. And I love that you wrote down all your hopes because (1) I’m a hopeless romantic and (b) I believe in lists:

And while a list of hopes may put you in the position of “crap, we got 63% on this one, do we throw him back on pile or work on his weak points?” when it comes to evaluating relationships, there may also come a day when you find yourself next to somebody who makes you add new hopes that you thought were impossible to ever be real. Until they happened.

Happened to me and my wife of 16 (almost 17) years. Keep doing what you’re doing.

[To be honest, we also have three divorces and a couple more horribly tanked relationships between the two of us before we found each other. So… not all puppies and rainbows. Just sayin’.]
