The good news is that the stream is too shallow to drown in when we (inevitably) fall in! Good thing; our landscaper has already had a discussion with the township inspector, who insists that “ponds” (like pools) must have surrounding fences to protect local little ones. Zach walked him around to demonstrate that no part was deep enough to drown anyone, unless they would also drown in a mud puddle (some of the rains we’ve had this summer, maybe we should have had fences around our mud puddles…).
