‘Damodar’, Twilight on the Tungabhadra’, The River, February, 2024.

--

‘The River’, an online tributary of the eminent print journal ‘The Sandy River Review’, publishes two of my poems, ‘Damodar’, and ‘Twilight on the Tungabhadra’. The Sandy River Review is funded by the Humanities Department, University of Maine, supported by the UMF Writers’ Guild, Alice James Books, and the BFA Creative Writing Program.

‘Damodar’ presents an aerial view of the river affected by sand mining in collieries around the Airport in Durgapur, West Bengal. ‘Twilight on the Tungabhadra’ explores a beautiful blue evening spent on the rock-adorned banks of the river Tungabhadra in Hampi. Thank you, staff, students, and editors.
