How to start your journey in Data Science and achieve your Goal.

I am Neerja Jhingan, IBM Data Science Professional Certified. I have more than 7 years of experience in Web Development. I switched my career into the Data Science after 8 years of experience in the Web Development. Today’s I am sharing my journey with all beginners and who want to switch their career into the Data Science even after long experience in other technology :)

If you are thinking to switch your career into the Data Science, Believe me this is the best decision of your career life :). This is the most sexiest and high in demand technology of the 21st century. I started my Data Science journey in 2019.

Below is the hierarchy of my learning stage and resources which i have followed-

1. Learn the Python from https://www.youtube.com/user/sentdex?app=desktop . I did the on the HackerRank. It took my 20 Days only.
2. Learn the Machine Learning by Udemy Course -https://www.udemy.com/course/machinelearning/learn — It took my 30 days.
3. Then I just refresh my Statistics, Algebra and Probability from Khan Academy. It took my 15 Days.
4. After going through all these subjects, I started practical practice on Kaggle.com. I did practice only 30 Days.

The best part of the Data Science is that, you will learn new things everyday. It keeps you motivated and you will never get bored. The most important thing is , you do not need to wait for job after learning it, you can start doing freelancing, several jobs are available remotely. The best freelancer sites are -

After the completion of learning, I started my freelancing career on Upwork. Launched my own youtube channel — Brainy Data Science.Presently am teaching Data Science and Python to the Students.
