I’ve been promoting gender-neutral “they” since I was about 6 years old. Hey, if Chaucer used it, so can we! Like the word “overmorrow”, for example. Such an elegant solution to the mess that is “the day after tomorrow”. Poetic *and* efficient? Yes, please.
