Beatty is not a proponent of bandage therapy. She believes that if people are helped to get to the root of their problems and emotionally work through their ‘skeletons in the closet’ and ‘unfinished business,’ it will enable them to truly live in the moment instead of having one foot in the past and one foot in the present. She is also not a believer in the 50 minute therapeutic hour. Typically, at least in the beginning, patients spend many consecutive hours with her. This methodology helps to speed up the therapeutic process and has proven to be very successful.

Beatty is passionate about the importance of relationship education and after having more that 35 years of clinical experience is very clear about why people have challenges in their relationships and even more importantly, has the solutions to help people improve the quality of their lives and relationships.

In her book she outlines her 10-step, fail-safe formula — - already successfully used by thousands of men and women around the world to help them assess who’s right or wrong for them BEFORE committing to any serious relationship. Her keynotes and workshops……Rate Your Mate Before It’s Too Late: Never Make a Mistake in Love Again and her Stop Domestic Violence BEFORE It Starts: Never Make a Mistake in Love Again educate and empower and keep people safe!

She feels strongly that our educational system needs to prioritize relationship education and find appropriate resources to teach children about the most important areas in their lives. These should include discussions about healthy relationships, sexuality, gender, communication and problem-solving.

She is available to speak around the country and around the world and has private practices in New York City and East Hampton,
