Zen Game

We are faced with too much stress now and really need to take a deep breath.

In this series of games, the players have to take a deep breath and exhale slowly to trigger the animation. They have different tasks which are all simple and tedious such as dropping a dew in different games.

Be confronted with too mush pressure, Chinese have a popular saying:“佛系”(Live like a monk)which could be interpreted as “Let nature take its course” or “What will be, will be”. Inspired by this, I selected all the visual elements from “Zen”, a Japanese form of Buddhism. The purpose of the games is to give its players a break in a busy life through peaceful scenes and simple tasks.

I created two scenes here:

Moon reflected in water and flowers in mirror usually symbolize beautiful but evanescent dreams.
The sound of breath could be detected by the microphone. Blowing too quick will be useless.
