I’ve run my first MVP on AWS for a while, but then realized that I was really going to save a lot of money by putting everything in Docker containers, and running them from a dedicated server.

I am still using RDS and S3, but I stopped using EC2 altogether. It’s nice that you can scale up with a single click on EC2, but common, it’s not going to be a great need for a MVP soon. Instead, I’m payng like €30/mo for a great dedicated server, and I’m really satisfied.
