OrientDB Releases

Just a few days ago, we released OrientDB 2.2.24. OrientDB Community Edition is licensed under Apache2 terms, which means that it’s free for any usage, including commercial. This is the recommended version to run in Production Environments. To see what’s changed from the previous releases, look at the Change Log.

OrientDB 3.0 Milestones is out. Be the first to test it!

OrientDB 3.0 Is finally here and it’s packed with new apis, official TinkerPop support, new features and enhancements. If you’d like to give it a try, head over to our OrientDB Labs page. You’ll find download packages, new feature details and supporting links. Remember, this is a milestones release and is not suitable for production environments.

Partnerships

Earlier this Spring, OrientDB announced our partnership with Chinese system integrator and fraud detection experts MiMe. Using multi-model databases, MiMe is helping companies across China move from antiquated relational systems to modern day, innovative database systems.

Transforming Relational Data

With the release of OrientDB Teleporter last year, OrientDB is being used around the world to synchronise relational data. In fact, we’re the first NoSQL database to enable this feature. Whether it’s data from Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL or HyperSQL, Teleporter transforms tables to graphs and allows Relational and NoSQL technologies to coexist.
