That’s the hope of these providers. First, they get to count me as a subscriber (a top KPI for investors). And secondly, they know it’s a better than 80% chance I’ll forget to turn it off and end up paying for non-use (pure profit).
What they’re missing is the link between these. My fear of the second causes me to never subscribe in the first place ultimately killing their top KPI.
In just checking with family and friends, all of them are choosing to avoid subscribing to avoid the monthly charges. We’re just too cash flow sensitive to risk the “forgotten” subscriptions.
