I am white.
Madi Taskett

I’m black, and I feel much the same way. I grew up with a lot of white friends and had a lot of great opportunities in my life. I feel like I might unintentionally offend other blacks (even those in my own family). I also feel out of touch with most of black culture because I don’t quite identify with it. And this made me somewhat of a … ahem… black sheep in my family.

Strange, huh?

Know that it can go both ways, or even in the strange, inside out way as is with my case.
