The only thing I disagree about in this article (and only slightly) is that it is all imputed to “Millenials”. Every aspect of this phenomenon has its roots in the radical left of the 1960s, populated by Baby Boomers. Those Boomers have now been in control of all of the positions of power for years. The subset of Millenials practicing this ideology have learned it from Boomers and are trying to one up them in intensity, both to boost their egos and to win the approval of their elders. The difference between the 1960s and now is that back then, the radical groups of the “New Left” were outsiders and insurrectionists. Those people are now in positions of power, which is why it has become a much more sinister, authoritarian situation.
Should it be worth mentioning that Barack Obama counts William Ayers of the Weather Underground as a friend and associate?
Trying to pin this all on Millenials is false. There are plenty of Millenials who reject it, along with many who follow along dutifully out of social pressure, but aren’t driving the train, and would hop off if they saw everyone else turning against it.
