Keep in mind that there are many, many variations on the idea of what a basic income is and how it could be implemented. Different versions address each of your concerns at varying levels of effectiveness.

You also have to factor in AI advancements themselves. For example, if AI could provide everyone with the ability to grow their own food, the need for basic income to cover that cost goes away.

On your last point, there is nothing that says that taxes would have to come from those workers still in the labor force. You could tax AI itself. If, for example, a company builds a robotic system that has the ability to replace 20 workers, you could levy of tax equal to the average wages of 2 of those workers on either the manufacturer or the user of that equipment.
