Theories on why Americans are willing to tolerate a fucked-up healthcare system

#8: No one has proposed a system that doesn’t designate “winners” and “losers”.

ACA was passed by demonizing health insurance carriers and employers while protecting health care providers and the pharmaceutical industry.

ACHA passed the House by demonizing people with long-term illnesses and the disabled while protecting insurance carriers and health care providers.

“Medicare For All” proposals still leave the same winners/losers as the ACA.

The solution is “VA Care For All”. A single all-encompassing system where everyone loses something and everyone wins something.
