Speaking as one of those white guys that lives in a (fairly well-to-do and mostly white) wooded town in Eastern MA:
You’re neighbors. Neighbors look out for each other.
I don’t care much what race, religion, gender, etc… my neighbors are. They are *MY* neighbors. I am *THEIR* neighbor. No one gets to come into *OUR* neighborhood and mess with people.
I look out for them. Hopefully they’d do the same for me. If people can’t look out for each other then… well, what’s the whole point of being there?
Welcome to Eastern MA. Relax and enjoy what life has to offer. :)
