Waiting and such is very location and time specific. I’ve voted in every election since 1976 and never waited more than 2 minutes. I voted in local elections 3 weeks ago and left my house, voted and returned home in under 15 minutes. Back in November is was slightly longer due to a much more crowed parking lot but it was still under 30 minutes for the entire process. For the vast majority of people it is a very simple process.

The OP is highlighting worst case scenarios.
