Is Sean Borg the New Trivago Guy?
Fans of the famous Trivago ad campaigns are doing their part creating a buzz on social media in a desperate bid to find out who will be the next face to front its upcoming 2018 media marketing onslaught.
A bunch of images have circulated the internet for the past few weeks causing a frenzy in the Trivago fan world.
A week ago we reported on former TMZ newsperson Sean Borg who appears in a series of ad-campaign style images currently flooding the net that feature Borg posing in pictures with the familiar, colorful Trivago logo stamped all over them.
Australian actress and model, Gabrielle Miller is currently the Trivago girl, and can be seen in a series of new advertisements around world.
So, is Sean Borg the new face, or at least one of them? Here’s what we know about Borg. He is certainly no stranger in the world of entertainment news.
He is a well-known British host and columnist who has appeared on a number TV shows and showbiz websites over the years, including TMZ, Hollywood 411 (with ‘The Bachelor’ star Chris Harrison) for TV Guide, and was once even a writer for The New York Post’s — PageSix column.
But is it just more clever hype from the world’s top hotel price comparison site? Growth rates of Trivago’s (NASDAQ:TRVG) financials make it one of the most interesting stocks to analyze at the moment, making its upside quite significant.
We reached out to Trivago’s head office in Germany but as of yet received no official comment on Sean Borg.
