Reframing the #1 measure of success in business

We need money to survive, but after our basic needs are met we’re no more happy with lots of money than with enough. The pursuit of money is never ending. To me, earning six figures seems like a lot. To the person earning six figures already, seven sounds like a lot. There’s no end. No fulfillment.

Money is the primary measurement for which we define the success of our businesses. I support this completely. I fight daily for my businesses to make a LOT of money.

But, what if instead of desiring to make ourselves rich, we focused our companies on making ridiculous amounts of money for the pursuits in life that are rich? What if instead of focusing on accumulating personal wealth, we used our money to change in the world that which breaks our hearts?

Would that not be far more worthy of our “hustle?”
