Inventory Slot Transfer Glitch

For this weeks journal, I have decided to talk about this glitch from The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This game had been popular ever since its first release back in March of 2017. This game was well created and took players quite a long time and a lot of skills to find the few glitches that Breath of the Wild does have. Some glitches are cool and send you off the map either from the sides or through the top of the map, while others enhance gameplay like the one shown above, the inventory slot transfer glitch. Essentially, this glitch allows the user to mass duplicate certain items within the game and it can literally be any item you want. It also, if done right, can allow the player to start up a new save file with whatever armor you would like.

Glitches like these I find interesting. They should be relatively easy to fix, but I think since they are a little complicated to use and they are focusing on the new Tears of the Kingdom release, it has been put on a backburner. Glitches to me is a mix up in the game. When it seems like everything is working smoothly, there’s something that doesn’t work waiting along the way in the game that someone is bound to find. In the end, many of the glitches in Breath of the Wild are funny, game enhancing or just downright cool which is nice to see for such an anticipated Nintendo game. Things could’ve gone completely wrong like with other games such as Fallout New Vegas or Cyberpunk 2077.
