Thank you for sharing this, Gerren. I too believe that research, documentation, and education are critical to ensuring a good user experience for a product. I think that the UX teams need to insist that the “V” that usually exists in MVP be redefined. What makes a product viable is more than just meeting the business requirements and functional requirements as written. If the product isn’t used (or is minimally used) because it’s hard to use, then the status of “viable” has not been achieved. Usability and accessibility are not “nice to have” features. They are integral to the “DNA” of the product.
