One pitfall I find often is when a central governance decides that the company should go Agile without knowledge of their own process. Adding an Agile methodology can severely damage a company without the right transformation process in the company as a whole.

I actually reposted my blogpost about this called “Can Lean and Agile work methods damage your business?” this morning :)

Takeshi Yoshida do you know of any examples where large international companies have successfully implemented an Agile or Lean work process as a whole? I find that most such companies are just putting a different makeup on their waterfall/RUP approach to seem more flexible sadly.

I know in most such companies you find teams that truly are Agile or Lean that is a dream to work in, but the majority are still stuck in project silos and waterfall processes?

…also what is your opinion on SAFe that is increasingly popular these days?
