John, I still have an old Esterbrook that I got as my first fountain pen in the 8th grade. My collection is no where as extensive as yours, but I do have a couple including an old quill.
Being a SOB. Son of a Baker, I picked up the use of no. 2 handsharpened lead pencils from my dad. I have used them for the last 60 plus years even when I was practicing architecture.
I have also been using Papermate Flairs and Pilots for years for my “Kollaergrams” and for writing and drawing. I have journaled since 1960, so I am getting lots of practice.
Afraid that my cartoons are much more primitive than yours. Wanted to thank you for publishing yours. Thanks,
