Blankets fail.
With holes and tears.
Each strand. Or Thread.
One snaps. One splits.
’nother reels, then rips.
The loss brings pain.
A cry — or two.

It’s gone.
Families fall.
Divorce and death.
Each Life. Or span.
So frail. So weak.
Mother swoons, then dies.
