Pronautic 1240p utilizes Generation 3 ProMar Digital Performance Charging Platform combining software-based power conversion technology and all digital control with global energy management features. Today’s cruising, sailing, power, and sport fishing boats utilize more 12-volt electronics onboard. ProNauticP addresses this trend. It has 12 digitally-controlled performance charging profiles. This unit can charge, maintain, condition and re-condition batteries and at the same time, maximizes the reserve power performance and extends the life of the battery. If you want more time on the water, use proNautic 1240p.

  • Don’t install or operate a damaged unit.
  • Inspect wires, battery switches, fuses, circuit breakers and all other AC and DC electrical components before installation.
  • Disconnect the battery charger output cable before replacing it. If you are using existing cables, make sure that these are in compliance with the size.
  • Turn off AC supply power before opening to avoid serious injuries or death.
  • Disconnect charger connections at the battery before opening to avoid spark hazards and electrical burn.
  • Protect from spray, rain or snow.
  • Buy for marine use only. Charge user selectable type battery only.
  • Use the charger for continuous duty.
  • Don’t disassemble, service, repair or reassemble it on your own. It can cause the risk of shock or fire.
  • Do not use any attachment that is not recommended by the manufacturers. Doing this not only voids the warranty but also increases the risk of electrical shock or fire that can cause personal injury.
  • Turning off controls does not reduce the risk of shock or fire. Remove AC shore power and DC battery connections before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Avoid contact with water while making connections.
  • There should be an open atmosphere while making connections.
  • Lead-acid battery generates explosive gases during normal operation. So, if you are in the vicinity of the battery, make sure that there is someone in the range of your voice to aid you while working near the battery.

  • Charge battery that is recommended by the manufacturers. Don’t charge any other type of battery as it may burst and cause personal injury.
  • Be extra careful while using metal tools near the battery. Don’t drop any metal onto the battery as it can cause a spark or short circuit. This can lead to fire or explosion.
  • Remove bracelet, necklace, watch, ring or any other personal metal item you are wearing while working near the battery.
  • Don’t use the charger to charge dry cell batteries. These batteries may burst.
  • Don’t charge a frozen battery.
  • Turn off all the accessories in the boat, remove the negative grounded terminal, remove the battery from the boat (if necessary) and then charge.
